There is around 2 miles of coastline to paddle, with some of the most beautiful and unspoilt coast in the whole of England. This scenery is best viewed from the sea to appreciate this wonderful area.

Hiring your Sit-On-Top Kayak from Surfside Kayak Hire, North Devon’s longest established kayak hire company, could not be easier. All our kayaks are of the latest design, making them very stable with excellent tracking, and a pleasure to paddle. Our kayaks are fitted with seats and backrests.

Our shop is located 50 metres from the beach. At the shop you will be fitted with your buoyancy aid and given advice and shown a map of the best areas to explore, you will then be escorted to the beach where our rental kayaks are parked ready to go.

Our staff member will give you a brief introduction to the kayaks and show you the correct paddle technique if required, we will then help you launch and see you safely off to explore on your own, kayaking Combe Martin Bay.
